Two Poems from our Angel Poetry Collection

To Have An Angels Wings

Author: Robert Miller

Poem:
To Have An Angels Wings

  I wish i had
an angels wings,
so i could do
amazing things.

I could got to all places
no matter where or when,
and sometime to places
i have never been.

Oh how wonderful
to have an angels wings would be,
i could always get to the people
who truly need me.

Right before there eyes
i could appear,
as well as then vanish
into thin air.

I'd never have to worry about
not knowing where to go,
because i would be directed by the light
of my halo.

It would be so incredible
to do such amazing things,
and i'd only feel blessed
if i had an angels wings.

A Dolphin With Wings

Author: Robert Miller

Poem: A Dolphin With Wings

There i was,tossed overboard
in the raging sea,
i yelled,i screamed,i kicked my feet
but no one could see me.

There i was,in the middle of no where
just trying to stay afloat,
with no sense of direction or even time
and no sight of any boat.

At one moment,i thought i would swim
bet then when i looked around,
all i could see was a never ending sea
and no sight of any ground.

It seemed as if i was there for days
with no way that i could eat,
and as much as i wanted to swim
i could no longer move my feet.

I felt like i was going to die
because no one could see me,
but then what did happen next
happened so suddenly.

My lifeless body that was afloat
was slowly sinking down,
but i was suddenly lifted and carried for miles
to the closest ground.

When i got to land
i wanted to shake the hand
of who had done this for me,
but to my eyes
it was a surprise
it was a dolphin of the sea.

That dolphin of the sea
was an angel to me,
and always will be in my mind,
he brought me to ground
where i could be found
and made me easy for someone to find,
