Long ago when I was nine, I lost a very good friend of mine. She use to cut and always cried. All her thoughts were suicide. Her style was down, dark, and deep. She would come to my house, Just to sleep. Every night she would stay up late. Thoughts racing through her head, Full of nothing but hate. Mother’s dead. Father beats. Her brother? –A drunk who lives out in the ~streets. As sad as it is, She lived this life. Until one day, She slit her throat with a knife. The very next day, Police found her dead. All cut up, Lying on her bed. What could be worse? Well, I was there. To see my best friend die slowly, With every cut and tare. She slit her wrists, Cut my name into her chest. While I watched in horror, She thought it was for the best. Her very last words Were directed to me. “I love you my friend, Just never be… Like me…” So with that She slit her throat. Fell on her bed And started to choke. The noises I heard Can never be repeated. But that memory I have Will never be deleted. Now with needles and knives I cut my skin. Hearing her cries Haunting me within. Because of the fact, That my best friend had died, All I think about is… Suicide.

GONE SO FAST |

She cried a lake Of fiery tears Memories carved Of yesteryears Gone so fast The lake ran dry Of a past Too many a lie Lying still A torch in hand A foggy mist A distant land She clutched her heart Tight was her grasp All was still Salvation at last
