Two Poems from our Nature Poetry Collection

In a house of glass

Author: Robert Miller

Poem:
In a house of glass

  In a house of glass
it's all i see,
every leaf
on every tree.

I see all the stars
that shine so bright,
i see the darkness change
to morning light.

Every cloud above
i see them too,
as each one passes
a sky of blue.

I see every bird
up so high,
i see every one
as they fly by.

There's nothing much
that you can't see pass,
when your living
in a house of glass.

Seen in the Sea

Author: Marigold Blackwood

Poem: Seen in the Sea

Clear sunbright blue
with shade of jade
as water suspending you,
dolphin swimmer,
human-eyed with this love.
Featherlight glimmer
touching skin,
shafts from Helios
splashing through seaswim.
Your glinting eyes,
the watersun light,
dissolving our disguise.
