We want to give all people an outlet to express themselves in many ways. The VoicesNet contests are just one of the ways for you to express yourself at Voices Network®.

You can submit your work to us here to be considered for publication on our website.

Selectees will be notified by email of their selection into the VoicesNet Competition.

Who is Eligible?

Poets of all ages are eligible and all styles of poetry are acceptable.

How and When to Submit

We would like to thank you in advance for your devotion to the development of creative writing and poetry endeavors.

We ask that you submit your poems at any time by June 1st and January 1st of each calendar year.

Submission Requirements
We have these basic requirements for poems to be considered for publication on our "VoicesNet" website .

Poems must be original works.

The poet's full name (or pen name), age, country, and an always active email address must be provided. We notify you of the selection results and ratings via our poetrycontest @ voicesnet.com email address so make sure this email address will clear your anti-virus software.

The poet must be able to be notified via email of the results of the judging of their poem.

There are several criteria used for acceptance of the writing.

The younger poets are judged by less stringent requirements, as the age of the poet goes up so do the standards for selection.

The judges who read the poems look for originality, rhythmic sounds, rhymes, and audience appeal.

The judges also look for poems where the authors really care about the subjects or trivial subjects approached in a novel way.

Poems are looked at in the categories of: Creativity, English usage, Grammar/Punctuation, Readability, Pure Entertainment Value, and Cultural Significance.
