Two Poems from our Sad, Grief, Sympathy, Broken Heart Poetry Collection

HEALING

Author: Jamie Ball

Poem:
HEALING

  He's like the wind that blows softly through me,
Giving me a sense of feeling secure.
He is the answer to my every dream.
My hurting heart has found a loving cure.
I have suffered many times before;
So many scars were left to wound my heart,
Tearing through my body, leaving it sore,
But with him I can make a brand new start.
His love flows through me like my rich, warm blood.
It's pumping to my heart to give me strength.
To feel this way, I never thought I could.
He's there to take my love to any length.
I love him more and more every day.
I hope he never leaves and always stays.

THE LOVE OF MY LIFE(Part 2)

Author: Jamie Ball

Poem: THE LOVE OF MY LIFE(Part 2)

After waiting
For so long,
The day
Finally came.
Being together
Where we belong;
Our love
Burning like a flame.

But then our
Perfect world together
Vanished in
My eyes.
The day I found
The letter,
Coming as a
Complete suprise.

Filling up
My head
With such
Shame and guilt.
So many things
That you said,
Damaging all
That we'd built.

Now I feel
Like a fool,
As you still
Control my thoughts.
Listening to
CD's of Jewel,
Tying myself
Up in knots.

But I take
Blame too,
For I let
It diminish.
I should have
Fought for you,
But still I believe
We're not finished.

That was until
Christmas day
When I called
To say, "I care",
Just to make sure
You were okay.
Hearing you hated me;
So hard to bare.

That's the worst
You could do,
Because words
Cut so deep,
Especially since
I still love you;
Dreaming constantly
Of you as I sleep.

Did we
Rush in too soon?
Is that
What went wrong?
Promising each other
The moon;
Trying to create
The perfect love song.

All I know is
What my heart tells me,
And it still
Beats for you.
That gives me
The hope to believe
That our destiny to be
Together remains to be true.
