Two Poems from our Sad, Grief, Sympathy, Broken Heart Poetry Collection

Nothing Left

Author: Bonita Sadie

Poem:
Nothing Left

  Nothing Left

Poem You call me a liar
Because i don’t tell you everything
Yet you do the same
Hipocrit

I want to do this
It’s what i need
It’s what saves me
From this loneliness
From the dark
And It’s deeper each time

I don’t expect you to understand
Just let go of my hand
You’re leading me somewhere
I don’t want to go

Had a taste of the best
Why can’t you just leave the rest
I don’t need this
I don’t want this
I’d rather blow my last breath

Paint these walls red
with just a piece of me.
My wrists feel numb now
Something so wrong
I’ve waited so long
to feel THIS
A REALEASE
My worries just flow
what’s left

a front seat show
to my death row
well now you know

Only 1 place left to go

Back down
Turn around
Beyond this
There’s no turning back

Go away
let me go
You already took it all
There’s nothing left
Except

to

fall

I won’t let you take this
I’d rather
Paint this wall red with each

last breath

Until theres nothing left
Except

to

STOP;

I’m falling now
And there’s no ground
it’s endless.

I’m free to be me, no judgement, no fears, no worries, no tears
Light as a feather it all fits together
No boudaries
This folds me in a shaddow of luxary
Embracing a closeness i’ve longed for

finally

I’m Free
For a moment….

Then.
The Pain

STRIKES..

STRIKES…
STRIKES….

Ur dragging me back
And im running from this light
giving me breath
i don’t want to fight this

I don’t want this
I REFUSE to feel this
Can’t You See
I just want you to let me be

Each STRIKE takes me closer
Each BREATH hurts more

I can Hear it NOW
the rythm
the beat

I can Feel it NOW
this pain i was running from
this cold i wanted to escape from

I can See it NOW
Those people crying
“Tears of guilt” OR
“Tears of sorrow”

MYNE TEARS FOR ANOTHER TOMORROW
1 Question remains
WHY…
I’ve got nothing left to give

And there’s nothing left
except these scars of hope lost
of a heart broken
of yet another failed attempt
With words unspoken

I'll be missing you

Author: Bonita Sadie

Poem: I'll be missing you

I'll be missing you

Poem Heard the news
You died today
As morning came
Your life slipped away

Screetching tyres
You hit it hard
No escaping this death card

People crying mourning you
Remembering your greatness
and happiness too
For your with the Lord
in the stars above
Never forgoten always loved

I looked at the night sky
in all its glory
For now it holds your life story

These words you said
Locked im my head
“i’ll sleep when i’m dead”
(RIP angel)

You lived it full
But yet so young
Their neverforgoten and only son

I cried today 4 your youth lost
A great guy
A heart so kind
And hard to find

A smile that could light a day
Why did your life just slip away

4 beauty was defined by you
A heart so gentle so true

I’ll be missing you…..
